I produce illustrations of biological and geological subjects in pen and ink, scratchboard, and mixed media.
The purpose of scientific illustration is to accurately depict a subject while clarifying aspects important to its understanding. Science illustration can interpret and highlight the details that a camera records too literally and show the hidden thing that the camera cannot.
